ANGLER FINDS SCHOOL OF GIANT CRAPPIE

Anglers keep coming back to chase crappie year after year thanks to their appeal – they’re great fun to catch and eat, plus they are among the most stylish freshwater gamefish.

A 2 pound or bigger crappie is a real trophy, as these fish are hard to come by, especially in clear water where they spook easily.

YouTuber Ty PigPatrol was lucky enough to find a huge one! Having heard rumors of some giants at a dock at night, he was up bright and early and managed to catch it with an incredibly stealthy approach.

Three of these crappies are true giants, the type of fish anglers spend their whole lives trying to catch. He even lands a few walleyes in the process.

Sometimes, the trick is to go about things quietly!

It’s no secret that sound carries further beneath the surface of water; so it was imperative to keep silent on this fishing trip.

No doubt, every noise they made its way straight down to the fishes! They did a great job at staying undetected and it paid off in spades.

You could even get a glimpse of some of these huge creatures swallowing their bait! You definitely couldn’t ask for better conditions!

An angler would be thrilled to catch even one of these crappies. We can’t say we blame him for not giving this hotspot away.

Catching three of them in a day is a lifelong memory.

The fish with the battered fins is a true giant and he released it to fight another day. We’re not surprised he didn’t give it away. Ty’s channel isn’t the last place we’ll see this dock!
