Extremely Rare Lobster Caught
I love lobster, and to be perfectly honest I would eat it every third day of the week if I could.
Of course, you can’t eat something every day otherwise you’re just gonna get tired of it. It’s the reason why most folks have more than one flavor of ice cream in their freezer.
But I’m not here to talk about ice cream, I am here to talk about some lobster.
Now of course, you can go to just about any reputable seafood market and get lobster; but that lobster has to come from somewhere.
Which is where the lobster fisherman come into play. These men and women are a pretty amazing breed of person.
I mean, think for a second of the worst day you have had weather wise on your boat fishing. For the vast majority of them your worst day was merely Tuesday.
They are good, tough folks. They also fill an important role, keeping my belly filled with lobster.
As with everything, the majority of your fresh caught lobsters tend to look the same, but every now and then you will find one that looks like an absolute one in a million fins.
Recently, a lobster known as a “cotton candy” lobster was caught off the New England coast.
The Atlantic Lobster Company recently caught a pink and blue lobster off the coast of Main and New Hampshire.
Of course, this interesting find isn’t destined for anyone’s dinner plate. It is going to be joining two other cotton candy lobsters at the Seacoast Science Center in New Hampshire.
An expert was contacted and had this to say about the rare lobster:
“Lobsters come in a few color descriptions from orange, yellow, red, blue and cotton candy, which is a mixture of pinks and purples on a blue backdrop resembling ‘cotton candy,’ so this is where the name comes from,” the representative wrote.
As much I am fond of my lobster, I am happy this little fella is going to be spared the drawn butter and the pot.
Something like this needs to be studied instead of being chewed and swallowed.
