Young Boy Makes Mind Blowing Catch [VIDEO]

When I was a young boy, I grew up with a river a half mile from my house and a lake the same distance in the other direction.

To say that I was blessed would be an understatement. When it came to fishing, you could fish almost the whole year round. When the lake froze over, we just cut a hole in that and fished that way.

There are a lot of values that kids today don’t have, but then again there are exceptions to the rule here and there.

Take for example the case of a young man named Connor Halsa.

Connor is a teenager from Minnesota who like most of us did growing up, has a love for a fishing that few things can match.

During a trip to Lake of the Woods in Oregon recently, Connor had his pole in the water when he felt a tug on the other end of the line.

The tug was such that he had to actually fight a little bit.

When he pulled the line out of the was completely and totally stunned.

He thought while he was reeling the line in that he had a monster of a walleye. As it turns out, he had snagged a wallet.

Yes, a wallet. A wallet that was apparently loaded with about two thousand dollars of cash.

About a year before, a man named Jim Denney was fishing on that exact same lake when somehow his wallet fell into the water.

It traveled underwater across the massive lake until Connor snagged it.

Despite having been submerged in a lake for a year, the wallet and most of the contents was actually in pretty good condition.

The money, once it had a chance to dry, looked almost as good as when it was first printed.

Now, you would think that there are a lot of people that would just take the cash out of the wallet and dump the rest back in the lake.

You’d be right. But Connor is not most people. He immediately began looking for Jim Denney and returned the wallet with every last dime still inside.

It just goes to show you that there are still good people in this world, and sometimes the biggest catch is the one you give to someone else.
