VIDEO: Sea Turtle Versus Tiger Shark, Who Wins?

Thanks to a drone, video footage captured a fight between a brave turtle and a tiger shark, which caught the attention of many online users. The viral must-see video shows the courageous turtle fight off the shark’s attack and launch a counter-attack, which leaves everyone cheering for the underdog.

Jack Garnett, a professional drone operator, captured some amazing footage off the coast of a remote beach in Western Australia. The video features a heroic fight between a sea turtle and a tiger shark near the Winderabandi coastline.

Surprisingly, the turtle not only defends against attack but also launches an unexpected counter-attack.

At first glance, many would assume that it was impossible for even the most determined sea turtle to fend off such a fierce beast like the tiger shark, let alone mount an offensive attack back. However, when you watch the clip recorded by Garnett with your own eyes you will see an amazing fight for survival play out before them.

Although theoretically slower than its attacker due to size and physical limitations, this small animal still demonstrated quickness as it rapidly swam through the water while dodging several attempts from its pursuer’s sharp teeth. It seemed as though nothing could stop this predator from taking down its prey until something remarkable occurs.

In true David vs Goliath fashion, we witness the turtle flip its shell towards the shark causing it to swim away.

It appears that there’s actually quite a lot we can learn from this extraordinary encounter between two creatures in their natural habitat. While one might expect turtles to be slow swimmers compared to sharks, this brave little guy proved otherwise as he rapidly swam through the water while trying to escape its enemy’s jaws – making use of his protective shell each time it seemed like he had no chance of survival.

It is also interesting to note that marine biologists were able to identify her as a female loggerhead by “the shape of its tail.”
